Uzbekistan will increase electrical exports to $ 3 billion by 2025
In 2025, Uzbekistan intends to significantly increase the volume of production and exports of electrical products. The export of industry products is planned to increase to $ 3 billion per year, and the volume of production to reach 50 trillion soums.
As part of the implementation of these plans in the regions of the country, 290 new projects with a total value of $ 4 billion will begin. The level of copper processing is planned to be brought to 75%, and the volume of mastered investments is up to $ 600 million.
To support the industry, 214 hectares of land under electrical clusters were allocated, infrastructure was created in the amount of 181 billion soums. Tax benefits are also provided for enterprises introducing high -tech production.
The electrical sphere plays a key role in the development of the "green" economy and sustainable growth of the country. In 2025, 28 billion soums out of 75 billion investments in projects will be the share of the local component. Creating a guaranteed market with a volume of 15 trillion soums and support for renewable energy will also become growth drivers.
