Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan plan joint launch of satellites
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz News Agency. The head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov and the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Zhaslan Madiyev discussed plans for cooperation between the two countries to launch a group of artificial satellites, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports.The plans were discussed during the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies to Astana to participate in the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and held on September 2 and 3 in the capital of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the ministers of the digital departments of the two countries Sherzod Shermatov and Zhaslan Madiyev discussed issues and prospects for cooperation in launching a group of joint satellites into space. It was decided to analyze analytical data on this issue by the end of this year and develop specific proposals.
The meeting discussed issues of digital education development, as well as the state and strengthening of regional cooperation on digital inclusion and digital transformation.
