$50 million to be allocated to finance projects in the service sector involving artificial intelligence

The President announced the opening of an artificial intelligence center in the IT Park.

During an open dialogue with entrepreneurs in Nukus, the head of state pointed out the need to give a new impetus to the service sector and introduce artificial intelligence technologies into the sector.
"52% of the employed population of Uzbekistan work in the service sector. 68% of operating enterprises are in the service sector. However, only 4% of those employed in the industry work in a direction that provides high added value. Therefore, in the service sector, first of all, special attention should be paid to the development of the IT sector," the president said.
He noted that since artificial intelligence technologies are widely implemented in all areas, an artificial intelligence center will soon open in the IT Park.
"All conditions will be created for the implementation of new projects in this direction. $50 million will be allocated to finance the projects," Shavkat Mirziyoyev concluded.
